About me:-

•  I have lived in Mapplewell for 39 years , and I care passionately about our area.

•  My father and four brothers all worked at North Gawber Colliery.

•  My two children attended Wellgate Infants, Mapplewell Blacker Road and finally Darton High Schools . My two grandchildren also attend Wellgate Primary.

•  I carried out voluntary work at Wellgate Infants and Mapplewell Blacker Road Schools , for several years and I have been a volunteer for the past six years at St. Dominic's Nursery.

•  Having worked for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, within the Community Safety Partnership, I am fully aware of crime and safety issues, not only in our area, but across the whole of Barnsley .
